heater controls

    any ideas on how the controls are set up? also any part numbers for the hot/cold lever, and a fan switch. thankx.

    the parts are hard to find. i rebuilt the blower switch. not all that hard just time.

    the push buttons go off, air and defrost.

    There's a good pictorial drawing of the vac hose hookups in the Haynes manual. I think it's the Haynes manual...

    there is someone here that rebuilds the heater controlers, he was gonna do mine. i cant rememebr who, it might have been brad but im not sure. who ever it was answered all my questions for me

    contols seem to work. just replacing vacuum lines and wondering what does what.

    Yes...Haynes has a perfect diagram. There's only 3 if I recall. One through the firewall to the vacuum port on the rear of the intake. Another to the defroster duct and another to the heat flap inside the defroster duct.

    Then the temp slide is a bowden cable to the air box outside the firewall on the pass side.
