Need the air, def, and temp control cables with mounting hardware for my 1974 CJ5. Does anyone know of a source?

I second the heater control cables from barney. I've ordered a number of things from him, cables included. All of it top notch. I'll never go back to those plastic junk cables that Omix / Crown makes.

Mmm. The original cables were plastic and not very rugged. The most fragile part is the plastic dash panel. I repaired my dash panel and cables using the sheaths from choke cables Dorman sells. Maybe Barney's stuff is sturdier than the OEM parts ... would not be hard to make them better.

Barney uses the cables from MTS. His panel I linked above is custom made of metal. It also includes a brace that braces panel to firewall.

I purchased these , they have a cable inside a flexible metal sheath with a thin plastice protective sleeve and made in the USA. very happy with them.

Recently installed a set from Barney's on my '74. Very well made and worth the price.
