does anyone have the headlight aiming measurements for a cj7? I found several schematics and they all have me on a flat surface at 25' from a wall but I can't figure out the other measurements. Seems like a formula but I can't find the formula.

Wait I think I've got it. I want my beams a couple inches below their height in the jeep at 25' from the wall. So I can just measure from the floor to the center of my headlights then mark a horizontal line on the wall with masking tape and mark the vertical center of the jeep and of the lights then back straight up 25' and adjust my lights a little below and a little to the right of the intersection of the two marks.

I believe you're correct...the bright light setting should put the lights at the intersection of the tape.

Or you could drive around a little at night, then use a wall in a parking lot to reset them. Repeat until they are good.

A job from years ago was vehicle safety inspections. On high beam the lights were supposed to be parallel to the vehicle And the center of the beam from the bulb should be the same distance above the floor as the headlights. Things may have changed over the years.
