Hardtop ???

does anyone have a picture of the original inside of a hardtop? 1 1/2 years after buying mine and I'm starting to work on it. It looks like it orig. came with a headliner but was there any liner on the sides. I realize it varied by mfg. but I'm just looking for ideas.

Any marketing adds or picts would be great.

 

who makes your hardtop? I just bought a koenig hardtop and while it is not there, it originally had a headliner.

It is a Koenig Super Top - Just like Baby John had on Nixon. I have a lot of work to do on it. It top piece is going to a sandblaster sometime in the next few weeks, the sides and doors I am going to sandbast. I have a little rust to clean up and need to work on getting rid of some dents.

My overall plan is to paint the sides and doors the body color and the top black. I am also planning on putting a rack on top (Jeep is not top heavy enough to begin with) I really want the rack as a place to lift the top on/off from.

 

My Koening half-cab has a headliner, but it doesn't look like it ever had anything else. Can't say for sure that it never did, but I don't think so.

 

plan on adding a liner to my top late summer/early fall.
