I found a decent hardtop that I was told was stock on a '58. From the pics, it looked like a Meyers. No Hinges for the rear hatch, and none for the doors. I understand these are rare parts to find. But he threw in two lowback seats in mint condition, and that more than justified the price for the lot. Anybody have them that would be willing to measure them? I've seen pics of them on here, but rough measurements would be nice to have. I have a friend who does professional fabrication and he's going to teach me what I need to know to make them. I figured its time I learn..but the angle of the bracket may prove to be tricky. I'll be picking up the top and seats this weekend and will post pics as soon as possible.

I've got the same problem w/ a Koenig half cab we found recently. You may have seen the pictures I posted in the classifieds on this site last week. You're right, the angles are the tricky part, especially on the funky top hinge that attaches to the front of the windshield. Another forum member told me about some lower hinges for sale on ebay. I have bought them and I'm waiting for them to arrive. They are not exactly like the stock lower Koenig hinge, but they look like they'll work. We'll see. Do a search on ebay for "cj5 hinges" and you'll find more. I've found a set of upper hinges that I can borrow and may use them to fab a set. Or, I may abandon that upper hinge and just put a flat hinge on the door as close to the lower windshield hinge as I can get. Or maybe even attach it to the lower windshield hinge some how like they did with later cj's.

the angle isnt so much the trick as the barrel end to hold the pin. Im sure an alternate design could be thought up to eliminate that problem but then they wouldnt be an exact reproduction. Im sure thered be a market for them if you had a bunch made
