I cannot find any info on the Dunbar trailers. I have one here and am trying to find out if the yellow that is under all five coats of paint is the true color. This unit has all of the tags on it still. Is there is any info out there i would love a link to it if possible.

    Thanks in advance.

BTW i will get a few pics of the trailer. Someone wasnt very nice to it for a while :(.

Dunbar Kapple was one of several manufacturers who built M416 military trailers, and is reported to have also manufactured a number of M100 military trailers. The yellow you have uncovered is either a zinc chromate primer or paint applied by a previous owner. The trailers were supplied to the military with a coat of olive drab.

It's possible that a previous owner sanded it down and repainted it.
