    Question for the electrical folks:

    App: 56 cj6 6 volt with generator
At high idle, reading 6.14 at battery.
High idle: Armature to ground 7.0 volts.
    Is this a correct reading?

I'd want to know about the amps more than the volts - unlike an alternator.

Generators don't "cut-in"below about 1000rpm, and at 2000rpm should put out about 7.5 volts, and potentially 20 amps or more. This has a lot to do with the voltage regulator, not just the generator.

But in the real world, does it keep your battery charged without boiling it? Good enough!
