Not sure if this qualifies for this forumn, but I think it's pretty cool. Been working on my future summer tow rig and did a little frame splice on it. Mr 53 Ford F350 meet Mr. 79 Chevy C30.

yeh you have never heard of the Cherd? It is a non-breeding truck that comes from the crossing of Ford and Chevy

    Chuck,

Looks cool, hows the hauler project coming?

What would they all think if you would have used a Buick Riviera/Olds Toronado/Cadillac Eldorado or Seville front end like the old GMC Campers and then a TH425?

Front wheel drive hauler would be cool.

Got the motor mounted and tranny mount done too. Not much else. Need to start figuring out if I can mount the hydroboost and MC in the stock location or if I'll have to go to a firewall mount.

I was always curious how those chain drive FWD applications held up, but I think I prefer a more conventional drivetrain ;)

I would think you would have tons of space on the truck frame, unlike the 2A frame brake area.

As for the TH425, I don't think there would be any trouble. Its the TH400 of FWD and that GMC Motorhome has to be pretty heavy.

I'll email you about mywinter project idea.
