was at the pick a part today and they had a 63 falcon. It had a 144 straight 6 and the ford (autolite) carb on it. Numbers are C3DF B which I believe is an autolite 1100 right?...(also manual choke). I know people put the factory holley carb that came on these engines on 134's, but Is this carb usable on an l134 or f134? thanks

If that is the very short carb, they are getting very hard to find in good condition. I believe the Holley number was 1904.

A Holley 1904 and Autolite 1100 are different carburetors. The question is whether the Autolite carb has a similar short height to the Holley.

you can se the shortness...compared to an l134 solex..

supposedly runs on 4-7 lbs of fuel pressure so the stock pump should be good...

im asking for curiousity on the f-head heights, and wondering if this is a possible replacement for the carters on both 134's (I have a solex on my l134)

also if this does work, all these carbs are basically the same...there is a plastic/bakelite push in venturi in the throat..ford used 3 different sizes depending on displacement,, so a 200 6 one could be used on a smaller engine by replacing one piece...

I'd like to try that carb on my M151 engine. My adapted downdraft carter stands very close to the hood....that would by me a lot of room....

I'm going to rebuild it and give it a try. Might be a few weeks though
