Went to HD to buy some more flat black spray paint and came across this. I pondered for a bit and said...Why not?

It rolled on so easy...Love it.

    Might add some hardener,

I used the ACE brand to paint the jeep and it faded quickly. Hardener should be available through tractor supply or something like that.

    Thanks for the tip.

I actually won't mind the fade and wear look, I don't want it to look too good. I'll post a pic of the very top. I wish the whole thing looked like it.

I thought about making the sides look like the very top, but I don't think I could pull it off.

Any pics? I'm back to thinking about painting the body again.

I'm considering rolling it... Farm and Implement Kubota Orange oil based is sold by the can.

Unfortunately you get what you pay for with paint. Don't skimp by a quality 2k product. Btdt my cheap boss still buys cheap paint and wonders why it fades, chalks, or oxidizes so fast.

    Nice!

Now you can completely forget about seeing traffic lights without doing the sideways head turn! :D

Very nice! I really want one but the only ones I find are attached to Jeeps I can't afford. Don't think I can justify buying one from Peter D. at this point. Great find!

I've got it all broken down, cleaning up the parts and frame. There's a bit more rust than I noticed during the purchase, but I still love it.

For those who don't know, the glass frame is split from the top and bottom. The 2 halves are held together with a clamp that doubles as the mounting point for the ventilating adjustment.

The side adjusters have nuts welded to them, one had separated, but it's welded back together now.
