sorry if this was already posted - with my summer travels I haven't been keeping up with the forum as much. I think I found this posted by one of our members on another forums (skt?)

Those narrow track FC's look like they'd tip over in a strong breeze...

Pretty unusual rig, and in suprisingly nice original condition. Too bad its a narrow track, but I guess that adds to the funkyness. Those sure look like chrome Hall 701 tail lights for those Tuxedo Park folks to drool over.

Yes. Hall 701 but black housing.

Throw in a Dana 30 and they handle, steer and look much better.

I agree with the D30 upgrade, but those tail lights pictured on the back of this one sure look chrome to me.

Well, to me it looks like black on the truck, but chrome on the camper. Two different sets of taillights.

I have seen at least 3 different FC150s with black hall 701 tailights. Could still be a coincidence as these trucks were bashed around like tractors and could have been added.

I imagine that back in the day the Hall taillights would have been readily available, and most likely would have been the only ones available at a dealer.

I was looking at the tail lights on the camper-Hall 701 in chrome. I didn't notice without the camper, Hall 701 in black painted. We're both correct! My guess is the painted ones are original to the truck, and the chrome ones are part of the camper "upgrade".
At least the FC150's used black Hall lights, as well as the Sedan Deliveries (wagons) on the barn doors. I haven't seen the Hall lights on a 170, but that not to say they didn't have them. Rear lights are probably the first things damaged when trucks got used.

This is one of those times when we are all probably wishing the same thing......if only back in the day I had stocked up on some of the small things like tail lights, parking lights, switches, etc. :coffee::)
