factory speaker nuts

    How in the world do you get the factory speaker nuts off? I can't get anything on it to turn. Are these the kind that you pull off?

    BTW this is a 80 cj7

    They should be screws, try a deep socket.

    I got'em. They were the push on type. I took the glove box out and got to the 2 on the right. I couldn't get to the left ones. So i pushed the speaker and it broke at both studs and i was able to get them off then. Man i'm glad it's over.

    Randy, the 79 has screws so they must of change over in 80. Glad you got them off.
