F-head Valve Cover Question

    What is everyone using as the rubber washer that goes under the nut and flat washer that holds their F-head valve cover on. Mine was falling apart when I took the valve cover off to rebuild it. No one shows that part in any of the catalogs or Jeep supply houses. There is two per valve cover.

    My rebuild kit came with 2 small gray fiber washers...I wasn't really sure what they were for so I used those...they don't leak, and don't deform. Ive seen similar at Ace hardware...

    You can buy rubber sealing washers at McMaster-Carr McMaster-Carr
    Possible you can buy individual washers from the parts drawers at an Ace Hardware.

    Welcome from Michigan, Modadds. I bought a complete gasket kit for my motor and I think they came with it. You should buy a complete gasket set, that way you will always have what you need. Just a suggestion, Good Luck
