    Hey everyone, I am rebuilding my AMC 304 and cannot figure out how the alt bracket was attached to the motor. I knew I should have taken a pic or two. Could someone please take a picture of theirs? Mine is a single piece bracket and a longer studded post you could say. Thanks

    75, it looks like the alt bracket can be different for the new ones possibly

    These are from my 75 304. Hope they are the same parts as yours.
    Thanks to Focker's BeamingPix. Much easier to use than the big photo sharing site that is bobo-ing everyone now.

    I just saw that Timgr beat me to the punch while I was scrolling through 8 million pictures on my computer.

    Apparently 1975 is the only year for that cast bracket. To 1974 is a different stamped bracket, and '76-on uses stamped brackets, with two configs LAC or WAC.
