    Is there enough room in a ‘69 Commando to fit a Jeep 4.0?

    Anything is possible but the length of the engine makes if very difficult. That would require reworking the firewall.

    Not to pile on, but ... Generally an inline 6 is too long for an early CJ, or a Jeepster. V6, yes. V8, yes. I6, not without moving the firewall back.
