I'm ready to order some rust preventative and have a question about Eastwood's product. I have used POR15 and it has almost zero shelf life after the can is opened. Is Eastwood any better? I want to order a gallon, but if it doesn't last in the can will need to get smaller quantity. any experience with it out there?

Seems like it should last a long time if the can is closed............

    No problem yet

I've had a quart for about a year and it's still liquid. I don't dip into the can - I pour off what I need. I also put a piece of saran wrap under the lid when I seal it.

    Works well.

I have some I've had for over two years. I do like Tim and pour into something else to use and seal it back as quickly as possible.
