dana 44 spline count?

    What's the spline count on a 1974 dana 44 axles?

    I belive it's 30 spline.

    unless some one has switched it, it will be 30 spine one piece axle shafts. the two piece tapered shafts had 19 and 27 spline shafts.

    If you are buying something (like a locker) that you need to know the spline count for, I recommend that you pull one of the axles and actually count the splines. Safer, as you never really know what a previous owner might have done.
