That doesn't sound like hard fab work for a decent shop. Cut to length and do up the ends for 3/4"

My Sag setup snowballed pretty badly. We'll see how it all comes together as to whether it was worth it.

I agree. Rods should be ok to work up. Good luck with the sag!

Hey All, In a NT Dana 30. If the gears are 3:54, can I change the carrier and the r+p to 5:38 ratio? Basically, are gears and carriers interchangeable in NT Dana 30's? Thank you!!

You will need to, there is a carrier break just above that. You can get an open carrier pretty reasonable, just make sure it's the right one for the deeper gears. I opted for the TT since I needed to get a carrier too.

Reuse your spiders unless they're torn up. I was able to sell my spiders and the used carrier.

ok great thank you! everything I have read is that the dana 27 is a easy swap for the NT dana 30. I just found out that the dana I am going to pick up has lower gears and I wanted to be sure it was still workable before going up to get it. Appreciate it!!!

Yup. My NT D30 was 3.54.

I was able to use stock ubolts and plates for the D25 on my D30 without modification. My stock front driveshaft worked as well, but it's a tight fit and I have heard people needing a new shorter front shaft (depending on ride height).

Your NT D30 should be double-drilled on the passenger side knuckle too, making the cross-over steering setup pretty straightforward. You'll just need the one custom length rod and whatever TREs you're setup for. I used stock since I didn't want to machine the knuckle or pitman arm for larger units.
