My son is outgrowing his bed. With no cousins to pass it down to, I don't have any family that would want it.

So its being offered up to my jeep family:

tTis was custom built and painted by my FIL from some plans I got off of the internet. If I can find them, the sale will include the plans. It can be disassembled for easier transport, and frankly, it will need to be disassembled to get out of his room. Does not include the mattress because used mattresses are gross!

Its really solid. I've climbed in there with him. Currently painted like the YJ from Jurassic park because my son is a dinosaur nut.

Does not run or drive. Did not run when parked, lol. :D

breaks my heart to sell it, but I know someone's kid or grandkid on here will love it.

Not sure what the market is, but I'm feeling like $450 is near where I'd want to be. I doubt you could get anything like it for that price.

Located in NJ 08848, pickup is preferred so we can have a beer and talk jeeps too.

I did ask my FIL if he could scale up to a king size version. Neither he, nor my wife realized that I was serious. :D

Make an offer if the price is too high. I have no idea what this is worth.

GLWTS. I’m in the same boat with the crib and changing table I built for my kids. It was a fancy maple set with a unique front rail with a hidden lowering mechanism that I have a ton of hours into. I’ve had no idea what to do with the set. I can’t charge what I think it’s worth, and I don’t want to store it for another 15-20 years and just expect my kids to want it. I recently got tired of moving the changing table and cut it up for firewood. The bed is a little easier to store and is sill in limbo.
