O.K. I bought this 79 CJ5 and one of the owners of this jem before me thought they would cut out some stuff they didn't need. I'm trying to get everthing back the way it came from the factory. I have the ignition wiring figured out. Where I'm stuck is the little things like the electric choke, lights, guages ect. There are alot of wires cut and tape off. Do any of you have the complete wiring diagram for this year or now of a website that has it. I searched the best I could here and the web and couldn't find anything other then the ignition stuff. Oh yea it have the 304 V8 if that matters any. Thanks

There are only a few of the years of the factory manuals online, and the Chiltons and Haynes manuals are unreliable except for the most general questions.

I'd suggest you buy a reprint of the 1979 Jeep factory manual. Here's one place they are available: http://thejeep.com/shop/TECH+MANUAL....html?osCsid=a1bdaaf422d45de9dbd67e703e8cfcd6
There are many other sources, and the originals sometimes come up on eBay.

It's very generous of fuzz401 to scan and post those diagrams, but you can't rely on someone posting up the part of the manual that you need, when you need it. The manual sellers are able to sell the reprints because the information in them is not otherwise widely available. Also, the '78 diagram may have its differences - IIRC there's something different about the '79 harnesses (at least in the full size Jeeps) that makes a '79 slightly more desirable than a '79 ... can't recall exactly what thoug.
