have you looked in the bell housing at all? if its wearing that fast to come out of adjustment there would be evidence in the bell. the fork is on the pivot correctly? only a few moving parts that could effect the adjustment it has to be one of them.

I have yet to take a good look in the bell housing. What exactly should I look for that could clue in as to what is happening?
I’m hoping I didn’t screw anything up on the inside when we were trying to bleed the system before we saw the clutch fork twisting.
I was thinking maybe that my body shifting would cause it to come out of adjustment? (The hat rails at the front of the tub are super thrashed)

Yup if the tub flops around anything attached to it does too the clutch fork twists? All the linkage need to be non flexible if the rod or arm bends that’s a problem too. Look for black fiber dust or chunks of friction disk broken steel parts. Generally signs of carnage

I haven’t found the clutch fork to twist with the mechanical but whenever we were trying to bleed the hydraulic system it was twisting pretty bad because the pushrod had to be moved to a different spot. The rod is just about fully extended now and the freeplay is good but it is still a PITA to get into first a reverse it shifts ok into the other gears but is not very smooth

So I drove it this morning after a readjustment and it drove perfectly fine. We’ll see how long that lasts:shrug:

About a week is how long it lasted. Misadjusted such that it is crunching into first and reverse. I am at a complete loss

I have found that the clutch fork does bend back a little when the clutch pedal is pushed in because i had the trans tunnel off so it was clear to see if that helps

Looked at the parts book, and there is no difference between the clutch linkage with the T-14 and with the T-18. There is a difference with the 232/258, in the pack of four spacers at the bellhousing. They should be there.

I do have that spaced out to correct my bellcrank angle. The bellcrank is pretty much dead on perpendicular
