    I actually looked at his site last night and watched a video on there about the rivit removal.
    Anyone know who sells a good kit? All I'm seeing is omix ida kits

    Im sure it was flooded but removed the plugs and cleaned them up. Not even getting anything now.

    Id rather get this one rebuilt. I had a solex before and while they work good in the summer i didnt have good luck in the winter and thats when i need this thing to run like a top

    I recently bought a kit from a guy who has all the old Carter stuff. He even made me a leaner rod for when I move to Colorado. Don't have his stuff on my iPad so I'll try to remember to get it tomorrow and post here. He knew his ****.

    Thanks. Any idea what you paid for the kit?

    I need to get one for my old deere while im at it since they have one for that too

    No don't remember as I was getting a number of other things including the custom rod, extra gaskets, etc. And some Carter specific tools.
