Man doing projects like this really is getting under my skin. Everything went good today, i got the front and rear bearings on. But i couldnt get the Adapter from the T18-Dana 18 on, it just wouldnt seal. Well i noticed that the rebuild kit came with a snap ring for the bearings and the new bearing had a snap ring installed, i just used the ring that was installed, but it was too wide, the one in the kit let me get the adapter on. Problem solved, so i get the new seal that i got to fit in the adapter, it fit the adapter correctly but it is supposed to seal on the spacer that was included with the novak mainshaft, but it is not close to sealing against it. So i got out my T98 spacer and it would seal to that.. BUT.. the T98 spacer is really pitted badly, so i am not going to be able to use it.

    SOOOOOOO.......

Does anyone have a seal number for the Adapter for the T18 to Dana 18/20???? I will have to go to a local store and see if i can get one either in stock or order one. This project is killing me :(

Dan, I don't have the part # handy but have them look for that part for a Jeep Wagoneer/Pickup with the Dana 20 and T-18 from the mid '70's. That's the most common application for what you are trying to do. If you can't find one, Novak of course can help, and so can R&P. Nickmil.
