Axle Shaft For 72-75 Jeep Cj-5

I had my rear axle rebuilt. I pulled the axle shafts out before i took them to be rebuilt.Is there a difference between the right side axle shaft and left side axle shaft,like the length and spline count

 

if its a factory centered 44 no.

 

Checking the book... same PN, left and right. Both the same.

You may be able to identify left and right by the splines. Often the splines show a twist that is a mirror image left and right. No twist means no abuse.

 

What book are you checking?
