I think it's part of an estate sale.

Trying to clear those big tires. I would assume the left rear is the same.

I had some time today to climb around under this buggy.

Sounds like they're selling the trailer separately.

This jeep is in really decent condition. It does appear to be a repaint, didn't look under the dash to verify, but there's paint lines around the edges of the VIN tag on the firewall for instance.

I don't think the rear fenders have been cut, if they were, they did a nice job of bending the sheet metal lip around. the rubberized 'wheel opening covers' ride against the lip.

The inner-fender supports are still in place on the front fenders (reminded me of the support for the battery holder on my '69). I didn't see the 'vibration' cracking at the radiator / fender mounts.

Truck has ARB compressor under the hood (on the fender under the optima yellow top battery).

Verified ARB locker buttons in cab between seats at floor, and also see the air line running into the top of the rear diff.

Looks like the rear is a centered D-44, might be something else, didn't root around all that much, but the cover similar to mine.

Looks like a narrow track dana 30 front (drum brakes). Unknown on ratios.

T-18 transmission, D-20 transfer. Unknown on ratios.

Custom 'light plate' steel rear tank (could be aluminum, it's thick sounding when you knock it). Looks like 25gal or so, bigger than the 20 I have.

All of the rubber mounts look new.

    Engine compartment is clean.

It has throttle-body fuel injection and DUI spark, edlebrock intake. I dunno on the rest of it (as in what is the CID, internal changes, etc.)

Has some 'fangled' radio system in it. didn't look, didn't care. little tiny 1in satellite speakers jammed in the roll bar behind your head and some others elsewhere.

I reached across, pumped the accelerator 2x with my fingers, then turned the ignition and it started right up, sounded good, nothing extreme sounding.

Interesting effect on this picture, not sure what my camera did here.

I'd be surprised if this one didn't go for >$7500

I'd say $7500 would be a good deal for the buyer.

Auction is off and running, and it's over $5000 already.

At least one other jeep, a CJ7, IIRC in this auction also.

btw: this auction has 60+ freedom dispensers and tons of reloading stuff if you're into that sort of thing as well.

Will be interesting to see what the little trailer brings on it's own.
