Are the Chevy I-6s semi-even fire?

    Been looking for a distributor for my semi-even fire 90* chevy v-6. I caught something on Pirate that the chevy I-6 distributors work in the V-6. Please someone tell me this is true.

    All straight sixes are even fire. The cylinders all fire 120* apart. As far as interchangability of the distributors..I've never heard that before. Maybe someone will be able to confirm it

    the rotor/condenser/points might interchange. the cap will fit BUT not work well (if at all) due to the length of the terminals for the plug wires.
