Yep - they've been around awhile.

Kinda pricey, IMHO. Could buy a used pop-up and modify the frame/suspension.

Neighbor has the perfect candidate - only one side slides out for a bed. The trailer folded all down is tiny.

What would you do - put that on the trailer along with the Jeep?

    Jerry,
PM'd you with some info from some guy in Montana selling one.
Don't know him, just passing along some info....

Or perhaps a nice 1/4 ton with a roof top tent would suffice...

    Regards,
    Wally

For a cross country trip yes. Like if I ever get to the Rubicon.
I'd use it for local trips mostly. I want to drive the Natches Trace from Nashville to Natches and back soon.
They say its a 3 day trip down if you take your time. So a 6 day rolling Jeep camping trip would be nice.
Its all pavement but very relaxing. ;)

Thanks Wally, I've thought about a 1/4 ton as they would be far cheaper.
