Am I Crazy For Wanting This?

What is left of a '41 Slat Grill on Ebay. I've seen this before on Craigslist and wanted it then. If I were still in NY, I'd seriously consider this, but then again I'm a graduate of the 'any Jeep can and should be saved' school.

 

Im not a welder or fabricator or anything, but I do beleive that they have pulled the plug on this one. I guess you could always salvage the frame, springs and axles and whatever else that isn't the body and restore it...but unless it was a sentimental thing, I wouldn't. Just my $.02

 

Hmmm... just noticed that this got moved to the resto forum. Someone must have some faith in me! It was just an auction that I found (again...). I would be interested in it if it were still in NY.
