    still no box underneath ,,,,,maybe work on it today
    a little 2wd run in the mountains ,,,no rocks to play on so I found this stump ----Stump Crawler .....now that was a tough climb ,,,really ,,,,straight up,pushing hard on that axle

    30" x 19ish x 6" ish
    maybe an electrical panel or 2 metal jackhammer boxes welded together ,,, open on top since the floor is the top ...I need to call you sometime today Alan

    well finished the secret box today ....with the carpet cover you cant see the lid ...just how I like it
    shhhhhhhhh ,only you gius know ,,,,just need to caulk the joints a little . box dimensions turned out 19"x 30"x 5.5"
    ,bottom floor is 1/8",2 sides are the cj6 bulkheads and 2 sides are sheet metal. the bottom floor is tied to the cj6 body mounts and bolted to the floor

    I was able to stuff a box of welding sticks ,my OBW cables and goggles and my OBA stuff, a 20' tow strap ,a tree saver, a siphon hose and my medic kit into the belly .....
    now that that's done I have to figure out how to keep it shut ,,,,for the just in case unplanned flop or all that stuff will come out the hole and klunk me in the knoggin.......

    I also weighed the little piglet and she is a little big boned at 3740 lbs .fully laden with 30 gal of fuel......

    Noah that lock is good but might stick up too far ,,,,wanted a flat floor there for stuff . thinking some kind of sliding lock .......
    Terry it's hard to get a pic from the bottom ,,,,,I'm wheel'n this weekend maybe I can flop it over for a closer look,,,,,,, OK?
    Rejeep there is a stock gasket in the lid that's in great shape
