Ok so maybe there is already a thread in here somewhere but I am curious to know if for my 64 CJ5, did anyone manufacture hard top goodies like they do today? Aluminum roof racks, canoe racks, big game racks or the such?
I have seen pics of jeeps from this era with these types of set ups but not sure if they were home made or purchased through someone.

I would like to get some ideas for my top and any suggestions would be appreciated.

What brand of hardtop? Meyers had a basic cab and a "Deluxe cab" the deluxe cab was the "5 window" version which had 2 windows in the rear on each side of the rear hatch. There was also an optional roof vent. I have a NOS one that I have pictures of somewhere. Check out E-bay for brochures on the old tops, lots of them out there.

You know I am not certain the make of my top. I went through an extensive post someone had in here some time ago and could not match mine up to any of them. All I know is it came off of a 55 M38A1...once I get it out and put it on (if it ever cools off) I will takes some pics and post up.
    Thanks for the info though...
