I got this motor at the picknpull off a '79 DJ. I imagine it is similar to the same era CJ motors.

Anybody know how that loose blue wire attaches- to which terminal? This is a 4-wire motor.

Also, would this be an intermittent or parking style motor? I neglected to grab the switch (well, I ran out of time- they were yelling at me to get out before they turned the dogs loose in the yard for the night), though I think the Cole Hersee 75600-04 switch would work.

The original motor on my 70 DJ was a 3 wire (the old red/green/black one). That one was located on the outside of the windshield. The 79 one was located on the inside of the windshield and used a bracket that bolts to the dash mounting boltholes. I got the bracket also and will mount the motor on the inside.

Well, I did some investigating and found the high and low speeds work if the loose wire is held against the black wire end. That means it is attached to a ground wire. doesn't make much sense to me, but I'm not too swift on the electrical stuff.
