I'm trying to do SOA on my 71 jeepster (to get 4-5 inches lift).
Anyone know what used leaf sping will fit my jeep?

I belive the measurement is like this
Front, eye to center bolt 20" center bolt to rear eye is 26" ...width 2"
Rear , front eye to center bolt 23" center bolt to rear eye 33" ...width 2 1/2 "

I'm sure i need to do some modification.
I've heard XJ rear spring fit pretty good?

Any help would be appreciated ^^

Maydayks , i know hellcreeks has nice springs , but I'm short on cash so for now I need to go with used springs.
I'll look into toyata truck springs ... I see some springs from toyota will fit nicely on my jeep.....uhmm :)
Question, if I get springs from heavier trucks , won't the spring too hard for my jeep? won't it give hard ride?

I'm replacing my spring now because I have really hardride....but than again the spring that I have (rear) is so arched , I think thats why its giving such hard ride.

Hey MaydayKs did you also do the SOA on front?
Didn't the tie rod and steer stablizer bar get in the way?

SOA up front uses original main with junk yard home made pack. Tie rod clears no problem but steering rod just clears with drop pitman arm. High steer setup is in the works as money tree blooms.

im not sure if you have taken care of your leaf spring issue yet, but I was searching here for SOA steering answers and found your thread. If it helps at all, I am using toyota rear leaf springs in the front and rear of my cj5 build in a SOA setup. they are from a 79-83 year range toyota 4x4 truck. They measure 21x27x2 1/2. I love them so far. VERY soft and flexy spring and cant wait to button up my build so i can test them out. So...there you go. If you want, you can check out my build thread and see pictures of my jeep with this setup. Im running 35" with these springs.

    Good luck.
