I bought my '69 CJ5 as a basket case, so sometimes I have a little trouble putting pieces together. I need some help to figure out what hardware I may be missing. Here is the accelerator linkage:

    Here is the accelerator pedal:

Is this the stock accelerator pedal?

If so, how does it attach to the throttle linkage? I would imagine there is a bracket of some kind. Any one have any pictures of what the bracket looks like?

I don't see any holes in the transmission cover showing where a bracket might be mounted.

    Thanks

that's the correct pedal, although somebody had ground down those corners.
There is a bracket that slides up the shaft and set in place with a set screw.
The pedal is then pinned to that bracket; the pin running all the way through the body of that pedal. The pedal can pivot on that pin.
I'll get some pics of mine......

I suppose you could call the missing braket a yoke, Y, trunion, etc
There should be a groove machined into the shaft for the set screws to seat into.
    Not a great picture.....
