    I kinda like it, but not 2 K like it. Probably a T86 like the one blown up in my 66. No piston and rods................ Nice looking sheet metal though, from here. Could use the tire carrier.

    I asked Dave Eilers at eWillys about this since he's done a lot of research on Jeep tops, and here's what he had to say:

    "It looks like a Meyer top to me, but I think someone changed the way the door swung. I've not seen one that has a horizontally opening door and could find no Meyer top on the net like that. To me, given the size of the bolts, I'd say this was a custom job."

    What does Wheelie's rear hatch look like? Are the hinges and latch the same as on the above photo?

    If so, maybe it was a kit that could be installed on the Meyer top?

    I was under the impression that the Meyers vertical doors also replaced the tailgate

    If you look closely This Jeep don't have a tailgate the rear door is painted two tone.
