64 Cj5 Front Small U Joints Strap Or U Bolt?

    I have a 64 cj5 with small front u joints for the driveshaft. I bought the truck without the drive shaft installed, are the ujoints held in by strap or u bolts, and does anybody have part numbers for them? Thanks!

    I found the straps for the rear u joints worked, or appear to work. If anyone knows differently let me know

    All of the 1960's CJs I have owned of worked on use U-bolts to retain the joint to the yoke.
    Yokes that take straps are theaded for the bolts. Yokes for U-bolts are not threaded and the U-bolt slides in and is retained with lockwashers and nuts.

    I was certain it was bolts till the NAPA guy made me second guess myself. Thanks!
