I just thought it would be good to take a poll and see how long iyt takes us all to put our soft tops back up after a nice day with them down.

Mine is a Bestop Super Top. I'm pretty new at it and it takes forever - like 30 minutes if it's dark out.

My friend has a TJ, and can do it in about 10 seconds. I'm SOOOO jealous (just of the top - not the Jeep)

With some practice you'll get that time down. I never ran the clock, but would say from full off to full up 15 minutes.

Longer if I had help. ;)

15 mins sounds about right, but the time can take longer, especially if its a cold day.

I would concur. I have a super top as well. Warm temps make it easier maybe 10 min cold add another 5 to 10

Some variables - I always completely removed the windows, and hung them flat on the garage wall. Doors too. The shell got removed and folded up, stuffed under the backseat incase of rain.

If you leave the windows on and rolled up you'd shave some time off your task, but the less you roll the windows the longer they'll stay nice and clear.

I have a Tiger Top. Takes about 15-20 min. All depends on how well the top edge wants to go into the channel

I miss my Kayline. :( 5 minutes. Sold it when I painted the Jeep green because the blue top looked hideous on a freshly painted green Jeep :( (The blue was OK when the Jeep was black ;) )

I try to only do it once a year, and let it cook in the sun prior to soften up. 15 - 30 minutes.

With my Supertop I can get the entire thing together in 15 minutes. No doors or panels I can get the main portion up in 7 minutes flat.

I'm goona have to time it next week. I'm guessing 10 minutes at most. Boyink I never thought about removing the rear window; I'd just leave the top zipper on and have not had any probs with it becoming un-clear. But I can "see" how it could/would over time.

It's mainly getting rolled up dirty that kills windows. The cleaner you keep it, and the less you fold/roll it against itself the longer it'll last.

I eBayed my Supertop off - but I figure it had to be at least 12 years old and maybe closer to 14, and the windows all looked great yet.

About 10-15 min. for me. I drilled out the "rivet" that holds the main bow in the bracket, and use a pin, so when I remove the top, I remove the bows, too. Here lately, I been switching from the supertop to bikini to nothing about 3 times a week...

Days sometimes weeks. Once I have it off I dread the time it takes to put back on so I put it off. Oh it's a bestop.
