What do you look for when purchasing from this era?

    Thanks,

Always check for a good frame. If it is the original body, check both floor pans, and they all rusted out around the window frame. Always rysted over the rear wheel wells, and watch out for diamond plate covering rear corners. Sometime it was used to cover be holes in body.

As for the engine and drive train, use good common sense. And beware of some who say they have redone the engine or transmission. Ask a lot of questions, unless you plan on a lot of rebuilding yourself.

    Have fun.:)
