    Which set of springs will deliver a softer ride in a "74 Cj5, Superlift's 2 1/2" Superides, or Black Diamonds 3" springs? TIA.

    I went with BDS wrangler springs on my 74 to get a softer ride. Sorry I can't help out with the two brands your looking at.

    I also installed the 2.5" 4WD hardware suspension and I'm very pleased with the ride quality - soft on the bumps but stiff enough in the corners.
