Temp Sensor location on V6

    Unless I'm blind, I don't think my '70 Dauntless V6 has a Temperature Sending unit. The FSM says it should be on the manifold, but I can't find it. There is a plug in the manifold on the passenger side towards the front, is this where the sensor goes? Does anyone have a pic of theirs?

    Behind the carb on the passenger side for the stock location.

    Don't think mine is there. Mine's somewhere on the front IIRC. Spoon's Jeepster has it in the aforementioned location.

    The motors had the temperature sender in 2 places depending on the year made. The 70 and 71 units had it on the back of the intake on the passenger side like Sparky mentioned, the earlier ones had it on the front of the engine on the passenger also.
