Soccer season has started, and building has ceased.

On the bright side. i think that I may be able to swing some fundage for finishing my steering (assist or full hydro), do the exhaust, and paint the rig cleanly.

    yay

gauge cluster. speedo and fuel not hooked up yet. temp oil and volts work fine.

WOW. Its looking super nice. I've always loved the look of the old wagons and I'm glad that while its heavily modded, that you kept the original look. I like the video too, especially when the kids are crying about who gets to ride in it next and your wife says, "Yeah, I hate it too." R) Just what mine would have said. :D

first road trip was a success (somewhat)

While driving it to A&A Performance my clutch pedal shorted the ignition wire causing the engine to cut out and a SMALL electical fire. Good grief its always something.  Called the wife who brought the necessary tools and electrical repair crap. Quickly had the wire repaierd and rerouted and was on my way.

The first drive around town is a nervous trip, but the rig made it without any further hitches.

    hurray:twisted:

Sorry guys been hella busy. Have been working on it sporadically.

Had a test run a few months ago which was successful despite a broken 1310 ujoint at the front pinion.

I am in the process of prepping for paint.

pics and much more in a few weeks after it gets painted.
