I picked up this flywheel with a stock even fire aluminium 4 barrel manifold the other day. It appears just a little different then my stock one or the marine one I have. The big difference I see other then the 24 extra holes is no holes drill around the outside to balance it. There is only the number 3 on it. Any clue to which engine it might belong with? 20170920_133808.jpg 20170920_133827.jpg

Maybe the holes are to lighten it? Looks like it's been scooped out some on the transmission side.

Seems like a lot of work to reduce the weight to 49 pounds.

Stock ones are 50lbs, excuse me, I mean a whopping 50lbs in order to help smooth out the 'rough as a cob' Dauntless.

But what does a typical V6 flywheel weigh? Or a V8 or something comparable even.
