Second block is worse than the original. After some discussion and that we can't find any more blocks in the area we are going a head and rebuilding the original block. We feel it will be ok.

i know its been a LONG time, but is there any chance that you have the original cj6 bumper, and if so, would you be willing to part with it?

No I don't have the original bumper, about the only original parts I have left is the dash, glove box door and the old tail gate and it's not in good conditions with spits in the metal. I gave most all the extra stuff away at a swap meet a few years ago. Sorry.

Still working on getting the motor ready and back in but I was sitting at the computer the other night and decide to see if I could make this picture. It took me awhile but I finally got it. It has been a long time to get from there to here.

When I get the motor back and running I will take it down to get the glass reinstalled in the top.

Motor back it the frame and the bottom side stuff is back together.

Passenger side exhaust. I added the flange when I had it apart. It was a bear to pull out the front section. So while I had it out I cut the tube and added the flange joint, put the small piece back in the outer tube and bolt it up with flange much easier to take if it needs to come out again. (I HOPE NOT)

Got all the parts and pieces back together. Most of the wiring is back in place, just a couple that needs heat protection not hooked up waiting on some from DEI but not needed to test. So I hooked up the batteries and no smoke. Turned on the ignition and no smoke. Hit the starter just to see and it fired off. Didn't let it run but just a minute but it ran. Tie up the loose ends and see about getting it back out of the shop again. Maybe long enough to get it down to the glass shop this time.

Tied up more of the loose end, still have few to get to but it hit the drive-able point so got it out of the shop for bit a test run. Drove it around for 15-20 minutes, shifted all the gears and figured out I have the wrong set of knobs so I will order the right ones. Felt pretty good!!
