Dufer mentioned Jeff Petrowich for something else the other day, so I looked at his site, he makes custom tops too. I have not bought anything from him, just looked at the website.

Jeff backed down on the tops following a promotion at work. I asked about some repairs on the fastback and time was an issue just with that. The 2a site has a thread going with an overseas supplier. @oldtime might know the current status, it's a pretty long thread and starts with complaints about the ebay postings of the international tops using pictures Jeff's tops in the advertising.

Also Lots of info out there to make your own.

X2 Both M38A1's have tops from Wee Bee Webbing. David makes some top notch stuff.

    That's a shame. :(

I needed some new tailgate chain covers for my 55 Chevy too. I lost one.

I have a 1961 CJ5. It has all the fixtures for an old style soft top which the CJ2's use.
Will the soft top steel bows that fit a CJ2 fit a CJ5?
Or are the dimensions a couple inches off?

CJ2 and CJ5 are different animals.

He's saying no, a CJ-2A top will not fit a CJ-5. Not even close.

There is a thread here that adapts the 2a bows to a 5 but honestly you might as well make the bows from scratch with emt.
