Called to see if price was for each or all. No answer yet...
Willys JEEP Wheels and Tires
all 4 for 100 . that's a deal
You better buy them, Tim E., if for no other reason than hoarding.
You just validated my life.
There are a lot worse ways to blow $100.
Still no answer, left a message. We'll see
Supposed to pick them up tomorrow at noon. $100 for the set.
Ya gonna hoard them or put them to use straightaway?
We want pics, for no other reason than to post pics.
I spent most of my money on women and jeep parts. The rest, I just wasted...
Are you going to use them or flip for a little cash?
I could use 2.
I hope your on your way to get these by now.
Those look to be really nice. I just picked up a set of 5 rims, (2) at 5", and the other (3) at 4 1/2" wide, but the price was right.
Got'em! Nice little drive through the colorful Ozarks in Fall and came home with some cool Jeep parts, good day.
Wheels have some surface rust in places, maybe some minor pitting, but very nice overall. Tires would basically be brand new if not so old. Some minor cracking on sidewalls, but only treadwear looks to be where mice chewed them a bit. They are Power King 6.50-16LT Super Tractions.
Not sure just yet what I will do with them. Tempted to bolt them up and give them a spin!
Tim..... What size wheels are these ?
Aren't they 16?
They run tubes, right, so as long as they’re not threadbare you can run them, provided they’re not cracked through and through?
You should sandblast them and paint them too, for the sake of posterity.
Yes, 16 inch wheels.
But ....What's the wheel width ? 4-1/2" or 5" HD wheels ?
After looking them over carefully and analyzing all legible markings, I am able to conclude definitively that they are round and made of steel.
Seriously though, kind of crusty/dirty. Might find some markings once cleaned up. No hubcap nubs. Tough to measure rims precisely with tires on, but my "tig wire through slot" method puts the widest part of the rim (outer lip to outer lip) right at 5". Gonna guess 4.5" width at bead surface?
I'll post some good pics tomorrow, should tell the story.
All 5" X 16" HD KH Jeep wheels will have a single 1/8" diameter hole drilled onto the area of the bolt circle.
Often called the "stress hole".
The outer most rim or lip width is always 1" wider than the actual measured wheel width...
Here we go...
No "stress" holes. A little divot at the 10 o'clock position, but not really a hole.
Lots of tread...
Mouse wear (only on one tire)...
Minor cracks in sidewalls...
