The things we do for love..... Being a girl dad of a now cheerleader, I need something more practical than my beloved pandemic splurge since working from home. Time to find a new caretaker, pass it along to anyone you know that loves vintage Jeeps and looking for a solid vintage daily driver!

Message me here, we can chat via phone to discuss if interested. Located in Decatur, AL, clean Tennesse title, AL doesn't issue new titles after 25 years.

    Seller's description
1961 Willys CJ5 F-134 4 cylinder Dana 27 front axle Dana 44 rear axle w/5:38 Dana 18 transfer case w/Novak extended capacity billet fluid pan T90 3 speed Husky overdrive Daily driven/main vehicle, reliable and will go anywhere, Tennessee title. I have driven nonstop from North Alabama to the MS Gulf Coast, Slidell LA. Engine rebuilt with less than 10K on it currently, .60 overbore, .70 shaved between decks, mild Isky grind NOS camshaft, STD NOS crankshaft, all new American made/NOS internals. Lots of documentation, receipts and workshop manuals. Previous owner rebuilt front/rear end/axles, transfer case, body work, custom sliders, new floor pans, new storage box, matching numbers between frame and engine, he replaced all major components with full body off down to frame rebuild, not show restoration but a proper daily driver quality restoration. I replaced almost all parts the previous owner used that I considered subpar as the usual far east replacements on the market, with American or NOS parts from Vintage Jeeper, Walcks, Peter Debella, Willys Works and QTM. Many parts and spares, price is $16K as of now, will ask $18K if I finish the winch and steering upgrades. I also have an all-aluminum Buick 215 V8 core w/rare T90 to 215 bell housing which was a popular vintage upgrade that I will let go at my $18K asking price if I finish the two aforementioned remaining upgrades. I have over $20K invested, this is a turnkey daily driver ready for the roads and off road and price is FIRM, no trades

    Upgrades:
    • Period/vintage Husky overdrive rebuilt by Herm The Overdrive Guy
    • NOS complete clutch kit at time of rebuild
    • Reverse knuckle stud upgrade to front
    • Previous owner converted to XJ swing pedal setup for brakes, I reverted back to OEM setup for clutch as much smoother and reliable
    • Later 11" brakes front and rear, rear will need to be installed, all new parts on hand.
    • Weber 38 Outlaw carburetor with air horn and race filter
    • Prestolite distributor rebuilt/recurved for engine specifically
    • Custom free slow exhaust with DynaMax absorption muffler
    • Belleview 6000 winch w/rare control panel
    • Brennan’s Garage Belleview 6000 winch mount, needs to be welded together and to bumper, BG billet clutch and brake handles for the winch
    • Vintage Cutlass hub lockers
    • Herm The Overdrive Guy reverse Ford steering kit, all parts included, to be installed
    • Stewart Warner oil pressure, fuel and temp gauges
    • Heater Craft heater
    • Complete Bestop kit with doors, sides, rear
    • Marinco electric wipers
    • Interstate green top AGM battery
    • PowerMaster 10S alternator
    • Cibie glass headlight w/Flosser bulbs, all LED turn and brake lights, period look intact.
    • New Coker Firestone NDCC 7.00-16 tires w/spare
    • New period radiator, water pump
    • Walcks American made wiring harness
    • Custom all hydraulic shocks from Shocks2Springs
    • New front leaf springs, rears rebuilt/re-arched by previous owner
    • Tons of spare parts and NOS parts including NOS cylinder head, lifters, bearings that came with a Peter Debella kit I bought second hand from a FC owner who decided to go with a V6.
