Anything out there(8007 list #)? Working on a small V8/auto trans project and one of these may fit the bill.
Not looking for a paperweight, must be complete.
Let me know if you can help, Tks.

I have a 450 that came on an aluminum manifold I don’t need. I believe it’s complete but looks like it sat on a shelf for a long time so needs rebuilt. $60 plus shipping takes it.

Just FYI that's a Holley Economaster, goes on a spread bore (Quadrajet) manifold.

It is a square bore carburetor and was on an Offenhauser 360 degree manifold.

I think you are right about the bolt pattern being Quadrajet bolt pattern. I just checked it on a factory Q-jet manifold, it fit, it fit the Chuchua 225 manifold on my workbench, but did not fit the 231/252 Edelbrock manifold sitting here.

I sold those, back in the 80's, when I worked at a speed shop. The bolt pattern is the Q jet pattern, and the throttle bores are spaced like a Qjet, they're just weird because the secondaries are the same size as the primaries. If your manifold has dual bolt patterns (many do) it should work. I've often thought these would make a good off road carb because the venturis are small (good throttle response) and the float bowl is centrally located (less float bowl slosh) but I've never tried one.

I have read that the economaster worked well in offroad applications. Very similar to the QJet.

I have a TA470 available. I used it for a few months but needed just a little too much tinkering for my v6. Should work well on a small v8. When I pulled it I drained the bowls and flushed it out with carb cleaner. Been wrapped and boxed since. Have the manual too.
    $400 shipped to Vermont.
