I need to make the adapter to use the t90 bearing retainer on the t18 transmission. I do not have a t18 retainer to copy. If someone has one can you tell me what the snap ring and bearing depth is.

Thank you for the reply. Like your set up. If I use fire wall peddles some day I will use a hydraulic bearing set up like that. I like seeing all the ways to skin a cat. There is more then one way to do this. I agree we are cheap or we would just pay some one to do this. I did send my long T18 input shaft to Moser last week to copy my T90 saft and will be bolting my stock bell housing from the inside to the T18 and using the T90 bearing retainer with an aluminum adaptor. I did not get a T18 bearing retainer with my T18 to copy the back side for my adaptor. I can use the T18 bearing for reference. Just want to make sure its correct. Not sure if the snap ring should be flush or not to compensate for the gasket.

There is an extra step in the back of the bearing retainer to accommodate the snap ring.

Yes there is going to be a step for the snap ring. Was not sure how deep. do I leave room for the gasket.

    Hopefully, this makes sense.

    I forgot...
The "step" widths are .300" on the blue line and .102" for the red.

If it helps I will ship this thing to you. You cover the postage of course.
