Any Suggestions For Cleaning Plastic Windshield Wiper Fluid Bag?

    My CJ5 still has the original (I think) manual windshield wiper mechanism and wiper washer fluid bag?

    the PO painted over the plastic bag.

    the bag still holds water and doesn’t leak and the windshield washers still work. but I was wondering if there’s any suggestions for cleaning the paint off of it without causing any leaks.

    Do you know what sort of paint was used? I'd try a little acetone on a small spot & wipe it off immediately just to see what happens.
