I got my hydro clutch figured out and it is working. I basically pieced together a set like the one sold through several parts houses. Its great and works great! Really saved my already operated twice!! bad knee! I have inside the frame rail headers and as you probably already know the slave cylinder sits basically right the Frig on top of it. It'll get baked Im sure.

I am not entertaining outside the frame rail headers.. BUT....

I have a set of stock 304 cast iron manifolds from a cj5 of my years vintage (73) that I am interested in putting on to keep the heat away from it...I have a full complete exhaust that I need to keep .It is a dual exhaust down each side of the inside of the frame to a h-pipe behind the t-case.. It's already n the jeep and cost me a small fortune to get on and build..

I would like to see if there is an off the shelf flared flange piece that will mate to the stock manifold doughnut gasket on the manifolds that I can use to then fab up short sections to attach to my current dual exhaust ? My google fu is lacking. Im honestly not sure what to call this piece or what size flare the pipe would need to mate to the doughnut style gasket that slips into the end of the exhaust manifold.

I have briefly thought of using some sort of high temp barrier between the slave and the header collector but I am not sure if that would work.. as it sits it's like .250" right over the header collector. The slave and collector are literally right on top of each other.

Any Ideas what i need to look for? I'm hoping there's just a short flared section that mates to the doughnut exhaust manifold gasket available to build off of.
    Anyone?

    Thanks in advance!

Have a local exhaust shop make what you need? Or take your manifolds in and see if they have something on the shelf that will work? Most exhaust shops can make this type of stuff.

Why not try something like a starter heatshield They are easily wrapped/shaped around things and have a 2000 degree rating (radiant). I use this and trimmed it to fit snug or you could use stainless tie wraps.
