Flywheel Tooth Count Help

    My starter went out in the 66. It’s got the factory dauntless. How do I know if it’s 153 teeth or 160 without counting it hahaha

    Stock Dauntless 225 should be a 160 tooth. The only 153 tooth I’m familiar with is a small diameter Chevy\GM corporate flywheel.

    The 66 Dauntless engine I'm rebuilding for my PU has 160 teeth (I counted them!)

    The odd fire I had, with the stock heavy flywheel also had a 160 tooth gear.

    I have a 225 flywheel and 252 flex plate sitting here and both are 160 teeth.
